Lonnell is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who is passionate about helping others get through painful and uncomfortable situations. Lonnell has been working in the mental health field for over 15 years in different capacities, which has provided him the tools to serve individuals and families with an array of mental health stressors and illnesses.
Lonnell’s therapeutic approach is holistic and focuses on the entire being. Therapy with Lonnell is goal directed and includes interventions such as: Mindfulness, Inner Child Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). As a professional therapist, his role is to guide you as you take steps towards positive life changes, healing, and a healthy mind. Together you and Lonnell will uncover and better understand life’s challenges and day-to-day stressors that detract from your life and focus.
Lonnell considers all patients to be more than just another name or an appointment. Therapy is meant to be an entirely individual experience, and he treats it as such, with deep compassion and absolutely no judgment. Not only will Lonnell provide support and encouragement for each of his patients, but it is his goal to offer them practical resources that they can put into practice immediately.
